I was 7 years old when Buffy started, and of course, my mother wouldn't let me watch it. But the sneaky kid that I was realized that if I kept the remote with me, I can watch in my room and quickly change the channel when my mom walked in the room. The earliest Buffy episode I remember watching was The Pack, which totally freaked me out, but I was intrigued by the blonde girl who totally kicked ass!
Past that, my 7 year old brain couldn't really remember what day or time Buffy was on, and so it became a random occurrence when I watched.  It was around mid season 5 when I started watching again, and after the move to UPN, I became obsessive. It wasn't until I was older and understood what a metaphor was when Buffy became more than just a girl who knew how to fight.
I love reading and I love writing and I've been reading fanfic before I even knew what fanfic was. It was only natural that i would eventually start writing, too. It's my own dirty little secret that I read and write fanfic. None of my real life friends know, but it tends to be the best part of my day.
I have a series in mind to write, but my fear has kept me from doing it. Maybe I'll actually do it this time around...

OH! And my name is a quote from Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughter-House Five. If you haven't read it, please do!
"Everything is supposed to be very quiet after a massacre, and it always is, except for the birds. And what do the birds say? All there is to say about a massacre, things like 'Poo-tee-weet?"

Post NFA. Inspired by Dollhouse episode Briar Rose (or for those who don't watch, it's based on Sleeping Beauty). One shot. I posted this when I first wrote it on Spuffy Realm and, after joining BSV, I thought I'd post it here too.
