Old Betalist This list is provided merely for your convenience. The owner and moderators of the BSV do not actively advocate any of the individuals on this list and it is the author’s responsibility to ensure they choose an appropriate beta.
This list is no longer maintained.
Entries on this list can not be edited or removed easily by the beta. That would require an email to the admin, and direct manipulation of the database. For that reason we decided to discontinue this list, and link beta-information to the user-accounts instead.
If you want to be part of the new list, you'll need to create an account (if you don't have one already) - don't worry, it's free and we don't send out any spam. There, you'll find the option Beta settings in your accout settings. Just fill out the form and you'll be part of the new list.
If you later wish to edit your entry on the betalist, you can simply go back to Beta settings and change your information. You can even set it to Temporarily Inactive if you are an active beta who doesn't have the time to take on any more authors at the moment.
In addition, the new list will set entries to Probably Inactive if the beta in question hasn't accessed their BSV account in over a year. Of course that doesn't neccessarily mean they no longer beta in the BtVS fandom, but the chance that someone on this list is no longer in the fandom is greatly increased.

I have been reading fan fiction for a very long time but I have never written one because I am a bit critical about my writing and the right plot has not come to me just yet. I'll take PG-13 to NC-17-rated. (No G or PG stuff). Spike is a Big Bad Vampire with an attitude and seductive. He is not human. The
only way I accept Human Spike fics are as William the Bloody. And as far as rating, Spike is not a character set up to be G or PG rated.
