I pray that this is true.

And did anyone else think SMG with that ED picture? Sad stare + pout = win

There's a full interview with both of them, and TV Guide is carrying the news, too. I would sincerly believe that they're going ahead with the intention of putting it on TV.

Yeah, I was a little skeptical when I saw the link, because Kristin isn't always the most accurate with breaking news, but it's hard to misinterpret two full interviews. :) There's a ton of articles now... I guess Joss and Eliza did several interviews, but they weren't allowed to publish until the deal was made.

Having a 7 episode buy with nothing produced yet is a pretty good sign the network is committed - but of course, it's Fox, which always makes me cringe. For all we know, the 7 episodes will be shown in a nonsensical order, and then the show will be canceled because for some reason viewers can't get into it... but hey, for now, I'll just be happy that Joss has a new project.

Any reactions on the concept? It kinda has a "cowboys in space" type weirdness to it, and the first thing I thought of was Alias, but it definitely could be interesting - and the idea of Eliza's character becoming so many different personas provides for plenty of variety.

Yeah, when I was reading that I started thinking of this anime I once saw a long time ago where they had sex bots like that. It'll depend on the time slot if I watch it, what shows it's on against.

Unfortunately, we had big vampires in the next room, and I didn't think they'd wait while we had hot monkey sex. ~Cerulean Sins :: (Anita to Jean-Claude)“Is there anything your bloodline does that doesn’t involve getting naked?" ~Danse Macabre :: I’m dating three men, living with two more, and having occasional sex with two others. Oooo.  Sounds interesting.  Kind of Alias meets Quantum Leap with amnesia.  I'd watch to begin, but, as you said, E, it's Fox.  So, I'll try not to get too attached at first :-P

Give me Spuffy, or give me death.

I've been squeeing like mad about this all day long. I know Joss has hurt me before, but just like with a bad boyfriend, you rationalize, tell yourself to be sensible, and then he calls and you're doing the dance of joy and wondering what you should wear for the pilot's premiere. And I don't care that I won't respect myself in the morning; right now I am Joss's bitch and I am woman enough to admit it.

Blood Faerie-was the anime you were thinking about called Chobits? Because that's what I first thought of when I was reading about it.

And I totally agree with you, scarlett2u. We've been burned by Joss before, but we still love him and will love anything he makes. Most of the time.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

Well, I guess that would fit, too. I was thinking of a Hentai my ex bought me once, can't think of the name since it's weird. But basically sex bots you program for different scenarios, hehe

The sex-bot thing must be a common thing on Japanese men's minds, as it's in a ton of anime, especially anything dealing with the future, where there could be tons of different robots or cyborgs.

I hope they really get into the concept of identity and the ethical questions......this series could get really deep, if they wanted. I look forward to seeing Eliza play a lot of different characters.

Sex with robots is more common than most people think.

...What? Spike said it, not me!

Yeah, and the closest I've seen is once on tv I saw these toys that connected to your computer to do VR sort of stuff, kinda like more realistic cyber-sex, lol

I just read in a local newspaper of mine that it was confirmed that Joss was making a new series, called "Dollhouse".

I dunno what it said on E online, my computer won't load the site. So if I'm saying something you all know, then don't mind me :)

Yes, Inzey, that's the show we're talking about. :)
