Hey. Just noticed that the site was sending out cookies I neither knew about, not wanted to be associated with. Specificclick, a tracking and advertising cookie. I looked around a bit, and found this article from April. Should have noticed something earlier, but yeah...

Anyway, I seem to remember seeing the counters from SiteMeter on quite a few fandom sites, so if you're using it you might want to look around for something else.

As far as the BSV is concerned, I decided to go with Google Analytics, since I'm more interested in the statistics than a pretty counter anyway. Plus, it allows you to access the statistics for several sites via the same account, very nice for me since the BSV isn't my only site. Maybe I'll add another counter that you can see, in time, but for now I don't really think it's important.

LOL That's okay, I don't like the idea of something that is putting those kind of cookies on people's puters. It's done now, anyway... thank god for find and replace! lol
