I added a button of my own to the editor, and since it already supports multiple languages, I would like to have the Infotext for that button in several languages as well.

The button in question says "Insert email address (bot-safe)", meaning if you use it to put an email addy into a forum entry, I'll scramble the addy in the code so that spam-bots can't find it. (I do the same thing to the email addys in your profiles.)

Anyway, I know English and German, but that's it. If you could provide me with translations of that text (that keep the meaning clear), I'd be grateful. Just translate it into any languages you know, I'll add all those that are already supported by the editor.

In Greek it's "εισάγετε διεύθυνση e-mail" (cause e-mail is too bloody long in Greek, it's "ηλεκτρονικού ταχυδρομείου", so we mainly use it in English!)

In Spanish is: "Inserte dirección de correo electrónico (seguro contra robots rastreadores)"

If it's too long you can use e-mail instead of "correo electronico", I´m Argentinian and here we use both the spanish and english terms, makes no difference.

In French is: "Inserté adresse d'e-mail (sûr contre robots traceurs)"

In both cases the last part is a literal translation of "bot-safe", if you can have somebody chech it. I´m a disaster with computers, I have no idea if that is the correct translation in meaning.

My mom speaks Portuguese and Galician, she´ll be home next week. You said you know German? Because mine is not great, but if you need me to, I'll give it a try. Good luck!

I can provide the Polish translation :) Polish emigracy is one of the biggest in the world (thanks to our history), so maybe it'll be of some use.

I'm not sure about the bot-safe part. Do you mean, that the e-mail will have to be authorized? I can't translate it word by word, it wouldn't make any sense that way, so...

Cereza, nope, not authorized. An email addy posted via that option will LOOK like normal text to YOU, but if you were to check the source-code, you'd find the html-code for the characters instead of the actual characters. That way a bot (program that "reads" the code of websites to find certain information) doesn't recognize it as an email addy. Prevents them from selling the addys to companies who will then send you spam. We can always leave the English text for that part if you think the translation doesn't make sense. It's pretty much a made up expression anyway. :lol: The first part is more important anyway.

I wrote the full name: "internet robots", 'cos we don't have a short name for it :) I think a random Pole will understand it now!

  "Insérer courriel" for French.  French is my first language, but I am unaware of how to translate "bot-safe".  My best guess for bot-safe would be "À l'abri des logiciels robots".

I`m so, so sorry to have dissapeared on you, but my life got really complicated for a while.
I don't know if you still need this, but I thought I should post it just in case.
My mom says in portuguese is: "Inserir endereço de correio eletronico." She has no idea how to translate the last part (we're both horrible with technology, even the most basic).
