If anyone has any spare time, I'd really love a banner for my fic 'Victims of Fate'. I've got some ideas about what I want but am hopeless myself. Anyway, if anyone's interested, just send me a message and I'll give you more information on banner/ the plot etc.

To post it, you need to click on the image button in the reply box. It is the little yellow one with a mountain and sun. You can put in the url and put in dimensions to make it fit better in the forum space.

Here is the link to my banner at flickr - can't get my scaled down image to show here - I keep getting that little "red x" - what am I doing wrong? I even posted the tiny image at flickr, but it still does not work. Like your banner very much, where did you find the mansion image?

Thank you. The mansion used on the show is Frank Lloyd Wright's Ennis-Brown House, which has been used many times on movies and TV. I searched google images for it. They were all daylight photos, so I picked one and used filters to make it look as close to a night shot as I could.

I think the problem you are having with getting the banner to show up here, is that you aren't able to get a direct link. I found it. It's http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2373/2538519545_359233c553.jpg?v=0 If you copy and paste that link into the insert picture box with a width of 340, you should see this:
I use photobucket to store my photos online. They give you a direct link. I found your direct link by going to the url you posted and right clicking on the image, then clicking "properties". This gave me the correct url and I used that to paste into the insert image box.
I hope my geek speak was easy enough to understand?

Sorry - but how one does actually post a Banner here I don't know - I am only saying how to pick the image up from the Flickr site - Sorry for the confusion -

I did it with a direct url with Dawn's one. Oh well, I'll try and find some way :-) And yes, love the banner. Hopefully will get to share it with everyone.

I will make you a file that matches the size of the banner you have posted by dawnofme - then you should be able to use it - I can either mail it to you directly or I can post it at my flickr site - let me know which you would prefer.

Nah, I agree- I think it'd be crowded with Joyce as well. Spike and Buffy is enough - and the cool Angel eyes in the background!
The problem with the banner isn't the size, it's that I need a html code to get it to come up... any idea what the code might be for it?
