Ok, now I'm not sure if this was said on the show or if it came from one of the hundreded of fics I've read so please bear with me while I try to explain this as best as I can.

What I'm looking for is the dialogue or episode/s that I can find the dialogue that refers to Angel not knowing that Buffy died or the conversation between Buffy and Angel where they discuss his lack of caring/not even knowing that Buffy was dead.

I swear I remember a convo between the two of them where she is on his case and says something about him being so busy he didnt even know she was dead or that he did know but was too busy to be bothered with helping any of the Scoobies or Dawn while she was dead....or even anything said by anyone else that alludes to Angel knowing that Buffy was gone but not caring to help out...

...anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?!? I can't think coherently right now and for some reason, I'm trying to write and my brain feels like potato soup as the last 4 days I've been running on an average of 3 hours of sleep per night so I'm just not sure if it was Cannnon or fanfic. =/

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

He knew she was dead.  Willow made a special trip to LA to tell him... remember the "getting back from Pylea" scene?

I DO remember something regarding what he did when he found out.. something about a monastary or a retreat.  I think that info came out in season 4 or 5 of AtS

yeah so do i. i think buffy called him on it too, him not coming to help with dawn while she was dead. of course it could have been fic,lol. that i read it in. you can also look here and see what you find.

Angel Season 3 - Ep 44 - There's no place like ...

Angel pushes the double doors open, walking into the lobby.
Angel:  "There's no place like..."
Trails off as he sees Willow sitting hunched up on one of the chairs in the lobby.
Angel's smile vanishes as Willow looks up at him.
Angel:  "Willow?"
Cordy:  "What's..?"
Willow slowly gets up, never taking her eyes of Angel.
Angel quietly:  "It's Buffy."

Angel Season 3 - Ep 48 - Carpe Noctum

Cordy comes hurrying out and Angel and Fred turn their heads to look at her.

Cordy, a bit breathless: "Angel, Willow's on the phone... She's alive! Buffy's alive!"

With that Cordy turns around and hurries back in.

Angel and Fred look at each other for a beat then Angel jumps up and runs into the hotel after Cordy.

Fred: "Buffy?"

Buffy - Season 6 - Ep 104 - Flooded

Buffy returns, walking quickly and purposefully toward the front.

GILES: Buffy, what is it?

She turns back to face them, pauses for a moment before speaking.

BUFFY: Angel.
GILES: Is he in trouble?
BUFFY: He knows that I'm ... (trails off. Shot of Dawn watching with concern) He, he needs to see me. I have to see him.
GILES: Yes, of course. You'll leave for L.A. tomorrow.
BUFFY: (shakes her head) Not L.A. And not here. Somewhere in the middle. There's a, a place.
GILES: I see. Well, we should get all these ... bills and things out of the way before-
BUFFY: I gotta go now.

Angel - Season 3 - Episode 49 - Fredless

(Angel returns from seeing Buffy)

Wes bends Cordy back over his arm and pretends to sink his fangs into her neck.

Angel off screen: "How about you both bite me."

Fred jumps up: "You're back!"

Cordy and Wes see Angel watching them and quickly scurry apart.

Gunn: "How'd it go?"

Angel: "I think those two pretty much summed it up. To be honest - I *really* don't wanna talk about it."

Thank you thank you thank you so very much! I was just taking a break from reading through transscripts and decided to take a few minutes to not read something Angel related for a bit cause I realized too late that I was reading through season 2 ><

Yikes! I really meant Spikez_tart! Honest! I blame the fact that I've little sleep for the past handful of night and the fact that I was, actually eating sweet-tarts when I was posting last night! ><

Ok, nother question cause Ive yet to go through the AtS database...did Angel really have a human day with Buffy that he later erased from her mind or was that fanfic cause I'm having a hard time finding it in all of the transcripts that I'm going through :(

 Yes, Angel and Buffy did have a day when he was human and they spent it together. He was afraid he couldn't help her as a human and asked the Powers to take it back.  You may not be finding it because it was a Buffy episode, rather than an Angel epi. I'm not sure - or, it may have been on both shows as they were still on the same network at that time. You will see it referred to a lot in fan fic as another example of his making decisions for her and hiding things from her.

In Angel Season 1, Ep 8 - I will remember you - Buffy shows up in LA.  Angel gets to be a human by the old I've been poisoned by a demon trick and becomes human, then after having wild monkey sex with the Buffster, realizes he's no help in the slaying department so negotiates a replay of the day.  He tells Buffy about 30 seconds before the mojo starts so everyone can be suitably miserable. 

Buffy visits LA a lot.  It's always bad as far as I know.  I'm still wading through the Angel series.  And, can I just say.  Ick.

yeah, that eppike pissed me off. to me that was angel again deciding for buffy. what if she wanted to remember their day together? he just snatched it from her, making her forget. but he did realize that a normal human male could never be what buffy needs. she needs someone her equal that's why i also think he wanted spike to stay away from her in season 5. he knew that spike was the one, lol. OT sorry.
