BSV Forum - General - Recommendations Sinister Attraction Back Online Dec 17 2009 06:43 am #1_sin_attract Hi! I hope I'm not stepping on any toes by posting this here, but I wanted to sort of spread the word and coming here seemed like the best and easiest place to start doing so. It's taken a while, but Sinister Attraction is back online at a slightly different address: http://www.sinister-attraction.net (please note it's a .net address now, no longer the .org one). The archive is in tact, although nothing has been added since 2006, and the site is FINALLY virus-free. I'm going to try and go through the unfinished stories and see what I can finish up and mark as complete. Anyway! There are a bunch of fantastic, older stories in the archive and hopefully my site can help preserve them and keep them online for new and old 'shippers to read over and over again. Also, Poetic Attraction, my William/Buffy site is back online as well - http://www.sinister-attraction.net/poetic As far as specific recommendations, I do have some great lists on the main Archive page of recommended fics listed by various categories. Enjoy! Thanks guys! Sinister Attraction - http://www.sinister-attraction.net Poetic Attraction - http://www.sinister-attraction.net/poetic Dec 17 2009 07:18 am #2Scarlet Ibis Good to see you back! We've lost so many archives recently, it's a crying shame. I've been looking for Witchiepoo's 'The prophecy' for a re-read for ages and you have it archived! I know it's unfinished, but it's still one of the best fics out there... Thanks for getting it sorted... Love's a funny thing... Just want to add my "thanks" for bring you site back online and all your efforts - ” Recent evolutionary models have demonstrated what politicians have long known: the best way to get people to collaborate and to think like a group is to identify an enemy and charge that “they” threaten “us.” Michael Tomasello is co-director of the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. Mar 05 2015 05:00 am #6Scarlet Ibis Hey is this site still around somewhere? Was feeling nostalgic :) "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly." https://www.facebook.com/FangirlNovel Mar 06 2015 04:31 am #7slaymesoftly I don't think so. The owner has moved on to other fandoms and other life stuff. I think parts of it show up for people using the Wayback Machine, but I'd be surprised if the whole site was still there. You could google it and see if you get a working link. Hey is this site still around somewhere? Was feeling nostalgic :) I am not a minion of Evil... I am upper management.
