Valentine

I would love to try and make something like this with the BSV writers - I think it would be a wonderful Spuffy Project, especially with all the Comic Book excitement out there right now.

Kallysten made this wonderful Christmas Spuffy Comic - I would love to try and make one for Buffy and Spike tor this Valentine's Day - if we can't get it together for Valentine's Day, maybe just make it a February Love Month kind of thing.  http://kallysten.livejournal.com/652589.html?view=6042925#t6042925

I would do the graphics along with anyone else who would like to work on the project - but we need some of the BSV writers to do the text -  I have done some Spuffy Comic Covers before -

Now I will go back and have my heart broken over the political elections in Massachusetts - plus all the horrors coming Haiti - It was so wonderful to see some of the victims and now survivors that have been pulled out these last couple of days -

I must have missed that by Kally.  It was cool.  I loved it.  I hope you find an author to help you.

I hope that some writers and other graphic persons are interested, if not I will  try something on my own - Her comic is neat.

I would be great maryperk - I was going to have to go with trying to do a poetry  excerpts for text as I have absolutely no talent whatever for writing.  I plan something on the same length as Kallysten's but I will do a cover as well - and I really like the page layout from the "Turbulence" comic so will probably use that style for a model as I have never done a comic format other than my Spuffy Edition Comic Covers.

I would love to work with you and any other writer or persons who does graphics - I think it would be a very fun BSV Spuffy Valentine's Day project.  I can find an image to match any of the text - that is the easy part.   May I suggest that you use a similar amount of 'Text Bubbles" as Kallysten's as a starting point - we can adjust as needed.

Here is a sample of one of my covers:

Here is what I've written based around Valentine's day.

This first one is merely based around the Season 2 episode.  It is one I wrote the longest ago.

This story I wrote in 2006.  It's 14 chapters long, and I posted one each day leading up to Valentine's Day that year.

This one is one of my Death by... stories.  This story was written in 2007.

This one is another Death by... story.  I wrote it in 2008 and it turned out a bit more crackfic than I had started it out to be.  LOL

I'll put on my thinking cap today.  See if I can come up with something Valentine's Day like.  LOL

How is the storyboard going, nmcil?

I tried hard to try and get it finished in time for Valentine's Day - but I had a lot of RL art projects that had to be dealt with - Have several of the panels done and will work on them again today - hope to have it all finished by Friday or Saturday -  I still need a title - was going to go with "Prophecy, Fate & ...." this way I could add other comic formats if I want -

Any suggestions - I totally suck at coming up with titles - practically all my original artwork is blah, blah, blah  Studies -

Thank you again - for helping me with this - It was a lot more effort to get the images I wanted than I had anticipated - plus all the art projects that needed to be completed - even today, I have to re-frame a large piece and have two other works that are being printed and framed for me -  I did however end up with a piece based on the Buddha that I am very pleased with -  30x44 pastel painting.  Add to all this, I just purchased a new vid making software that I have to learn -

Titles aren't my forte either, I'm afraid.  Maybe just called it Cinnamon Kiss?
