I thought I'd share some of my resources that I go to when wanting textures/gradient/brushes for my banners/icons & wallpapers. I'm even going to share with you my most absolute, favoritest, loveded place so please, when you go there and download her stuff (I am THAT sure you will love her just as much as I do), please tell her that I sent you there as I swore I was going to send people her way. I just love her stuff THAT much.

You don't need a livejournal account because her links take you directly to her DeviantArt account. This girl has pages and pages and pages of stuff to make your stuffies pretty. She has large and small textures; large and small brushes; gradients, textured gradients, text brushes decorative brushes, border brushes AND the best thing about all of this: she includes the image packs with everything she puts up for those who don't have compatible programs so if you use Paintshop Pro or even Photoshop 5, you can take her images and easily turn them into brushes/textures etc. I think she uses CSPro whereas I use Photoshop 7 and I just turn incompatible files into my own stuffies. Seriously, I know if you check out her stuff, you are gonna find stuff that you love. Anyhoo, don't forget to tell her I sent you ;)

2ND FAVORITE RESOURCE:

Thia has some amazing stuff, brushes, textures, masks, patterns...a lot of beautiful stuff AND she is a BtVS lover to boot so she also has a lot of graphics/banners/headers/icons that she's made that's available for download as well. Plus, she is a complete sweetheart to boot and will probably make you something if you can't find it...if she has time. Poor girl is crazy busy lately with work and home and family but even then, she tries to make the time when she can.

She makes her own brushes which are all AWESOME and she has a brush search engine embedded into her site so you can look for specific brushes by type, size, decoration or most referred. A lot of graphic sites refer to her because she's linked some of the best graphic sites available - through word of mouth by users/lurkers so you know its not just some random person saying 'hey can you link my site?'

...but for me, I just don't like the site much. Its too crammed together, a lot of the links don't work properly and its not very aesthitcally pleasing to the eye. Plus a good number of links that do work will send you to another site with crazy pop-ups and my Norton flags a lot of stuff constanly for third-party content. They do have a lot of good stuff if you have the patience and dont mind wading through stuff to get to it, so that is the only reason why I added the link.

THE ONLY FONT SITE I USE:

They have over 7000+ freeware fonts set up so you can see the style before you choose it as well as enhancing so you can see the entire font in addition to a section where you can write anything of you choosing to preview it in that font of every other font on the site.

Anyhoo, there you go. My most favorite resources to make all the banners/icons etc., that I make. Hope this comes in handy for all of you.
