Improving the Beta-list

Mar 04 2007 07:41 pm   #1cereza

A few weeks ago I was searching for a Beta reader. When I found your Beta-list I was thrilled, 'cos every profile had this great description and I could easily find just what I needed.

The thing is, I wasn't sure how up-to-date the offers were, 'cos there's no such thing as "Posted: <date>". I thought it would make my life easier if I knew when a Beta joined the list. Then it would be possible to conclude how current the offer to beta one's fanfiction is.

Well, it's just an idea, something I thought could come in handy.

I believe Dia is in the process of updating the beta list, but she's very busy.

Unfortunately, we had big vampires in the next room, and I didn't think they'd wait while we had hot monkey sex. ~Cerulean Sins :: (Anita to Jean-Claude)“Is there anything your bloodline does that doesn’t involve getting naked?" ~Danse Macabre :: I’m dating three men, living with two more, and having occasional sex with two others. That’s seven men. I’m like a pornographic Snow White. I think seven is plenty. ~Danse Macabre

Dia is working on updating the whole beta list. Adding a date isn't a bad idea. I'm sure she will notice this thread and take it into consideration.

Yup, dates are part of the plan. As is the option for members to edit their beta-profile - which will renew the date so you'll really know if someone is still active.

That's great! It'll make the Beta list just perfect :)
