BSV Forum - General - Off-Topic I think we can all relate to this list. You Know You're a Writer If... What If I'm Not the Slayer? now updated with chapters 22 and 23. You have a habit of guessing (correctly) the next scene in a movie, sometimes out loud, earning you the ire of your family. Thank God it's not just me. Truth be told, I'm the one who's the angriest when something like that happens, 'cos hey, it's me who ends up with being not surprised at all! Great list, really. Tough personally I can't refer to all your points, I still think it shows how writing affects your life. "People," Geralt turned his head, "like to invent monsters and monstrosities. Then they seem less monstrous themselves. (...) They find it easier to live." ~ Andrzej Sapkowski, The Last Wish May 20 2007 07:55 pm #3Guest I just gakked it from another place. Didn't write it. My boyfriend is terrible about guessing everything in movies. It gets really annoying, cuz he doesn't just let the movie carry him through the experience. That one made me laugh out loud- sometimes, its just so obvious, I can't help it. I feel like I may have been the only person to see the symbolism all throughout "The House of Wax" upon the first time seeing it. I gave that crappy movie credit for trying. "Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly." https://www.facebook.com/FangirlNovel May 20 2007 11:00 pm #5Guest You know more color words than your local paint dealer does. Hee I went to paint store for Blue paint and asked for paint the same color as Spikes eyes...How sad am I? J* May 21 2007 03:37 am #6LadyYashka Hee-hee...I've done the stumbling around at 3am thing. Well with me it was stumbling around at 8am (after staying up all night), and sitting at my computer typing because my characters woke me up. Damn dragons. :P I've also missed conversations in car rides because I've been daydreaming. Also, it's not so much the office supply store that has me swooning, it's more along the lines of the computer store (I need a new computer), and the book store. :D Tomorrow may be hell, but today was a good writing day, and on the good writing days nothing else matters. — Neil Gaiman May 21 2007 04:52 pm #7Blood Faerie I actually have naming SITES bookmarked, instead of books... but that still counts, yeah? lmao ... and not just for writing but my RPG characters too ^.^ Unfortunately, we had big vampires in the next room, and I didn't think they'd wait while we had hot monkey sex. ~Cerulean Sins :: (Anita to Jean-Claude)“Is there anything your bloodline does that doesn’t involve getting naked?" ~Danse Macabre :: I’m dating three men, living with two more, and having occasional sex with two others. That’s seven men. I’m like a pornographic Snow White. I think seven is plenty. ~Danse Macabre May 25 2007 12:46 am #8Guest I have loved the stars too fondly to fear the night - Sarah WilliamsI have about thirty baby name books and I don't even have kids.
