I loved the shades of Orpheus and Eurydice in the graveyard scene when Buffy distroyed the amulet. I like where you left the family, instead of an ending it feels like a beginning for them. You told an amazing story. It had so many twists and turns, it never lost my interest. Pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Can't wait for your next Spuffy fic. So long for now. ~Rose~

I think i've been following the story fairly well, but I have to say Edith's appearance was quite a pleasant surprise for me. Love her part in all this. It seems only fitting that she and William be behind the special gift Spike's been given. Wonderful chapter!

I feel like the clues of what is going on are kicking me in the face, but I just can’t seem to organize them correctly. When I saw the update I was so happy, even though I knew that it would be an emotional punch, and you certainly delivered. I can’t wait for the rest when everything will finally fall into place.

Oh man ... I'm crying here, FMS. {sniffles} First I was happy because of Dawn finding the cure ... then I was crying over how touching and emotional Spike's goodbye to them was.

Once I started this story I couldn’t stop, it is so well written. The emotional impact is unbelievable, you have a real gift of bringing your readers, or at least this reader, into the story to the point that I had tears running down my face during several chapters in this story. I am looking forward to what you have coming up.

Found you! OK, there's a lot of daughters around now a days, this Mabel I don't remember from the first 64 chappies, but maybe I've been unfocused in the daughter-department. Wouldn't surprise me.

I loved the threads that came together in this chapter. Mabel is so adorable. I know I said it before concerning Joni and Spike, but I just love the way you write the scenes between the children and the parents. *crossing my fingers* I'm sensing a happy family reunion in the offing. :D Wonderful chapter!

Another beatiful and sad chapter....I do love the angst in this story.

Things seem to be winding up and around. Each chapter is another piece of the puzzle as I've probably said before. This whole story is a huge 10000 piece jigsaw puzzle that you seriously hope the dog didn't eat a piece out of. LOL.

I liked Spike and Buffy's Interregnum conversation, it was very insightful. The glimpse into the dangers of Spike and Joni's world was really interesting. It's great Homer helped Spike remember his purpose and he decided to take preventative measures to help Joni. And the end of the chapter was excitingly wonderful! :) Great job as always!

For some reason, when I think of Homer, I think of James Whitmore (sp?) when I think of Homer. I like to think of an almost cuddly, and stubborn old man, not the cartoon, but then again, I never really liked the Simpsons all that much. Give me Shawshank Redemption (My fav movie with James Whitmore in it) any day of the week! Very good chapter. Things are really starting to come together now. It is just fitting that Angel, in his race to be the "hero", would make such a monumental screw up and release the virus. I know that he would not have done it willingly, but he never really did think to hard when it came to making the right decisions for EVERYONE, not just himself. IMO. Can't wait for the next update!

This chapter has suddenly brought all the threads together for me. There have been times, during this story, when I've gotten thoroughly lost and confused by all of the different time-threads and scenes. But this has suddenly lifted the mists. Every time I think Angel(us) is going to come through and do the right thing for once, you take it another step beyone the pale. This is exactly how I envisaged Angel should have been portrayed on AtS, but perhaps your presentation of him is too dark for mainstream TV? Who knows now. What I do know is that I really love this series but I think I've only ever commented once. My sincere apologies. Wow.

Oh boy ... Spike is taking on Jonina's punishment for everything. That shows just how true his heart is. He would and will always do anything for those he loves ... even if it hurts himself instead. I know I keep saying it, but very emotional chapter. I have a number of chapters to go, and I have a feeling that this is just going to go more and more downhill. Not sure if I will get through it all today, but I will try.

Spike getting snippy with Joyce? Oh you know he's upset now. He never fights with Joyce. Good chapter. The scenes with Spike in his "hell" and Joni are so emotional. You are writing them well. I keep going to each chapter to hope another piece fits in the puzzle.

Wow ... excellent chapter. The interactions with Spike in his "hell" are very good. The whole scene at the crater is closer to what I wish would have really happened at the end of Buffy instead of how they left it. That was an excellent part of the story. Very powerful emotions from Buffy. it also helps to give an explanation on how the amulet ended up back with Angel.

I would be worried if the Senior Partners thought I was their champion. That would tell me that something was seriously wrong with me. Maybe I got it wrong, but it seems to imply from Holland that with Spike's attitude, they are figuring that Angel is the champion and he is down enough that the SP can suceed. Don't know. I'll keep reading. Also nice William history of him wanting to be a doctor before he was turned. William definitely had the tender heart to heal the infirmed. {Smiles}

Definitely want to skewer Holland for his continual part in this tragedy. I must say that my heart broke so many times during this chapter. I know that I have a lot to go to catch up, but I can only hope that it starts to get happier at some point. So much loss ... so much pain ... but you have done a good job to weave the emotions so well that it affects the reader.

Spike is going to kick Angel's butt. At least I hope so. {winks and smiles} Good update.

Finally, Angelus got it right! I guess the cowardness in him kept him from from being intuitive, all bite but no brain, unlike Spike. As soon as Joni's born Spike will know who she is...their savior. Wonderful chapter, thanks sweetie.

Oh Wendy, that was so heart breakingly sad, Spike love's her already so much and so does Buffy. They know what's coming and are trying so hard to stop it. Doesn't Angel realize by now they need all the information they can get to fight this. Love it that he got such a cold reception from Loren. Wondering just what happen's to Joni's real parent's. Very complex and intriguing chapter!  I am curious as to the reason for Angel's transformation. 

Wow! what a concept. Past, present and future all existing at the same time. Just a little confused about Joni's parent's, is she Buffy's and Spike's or not? Will Angelus make the right decision or is this when he take's Joni and sends Spike to hell. Reading more tomorrow, Happy New Year, Wendy.

Lovely beginning (and yay I can actually respond at the moment *G*). You know I've always figured "eternity" is actually a dimension outside of time where past/preset/future mean nothing as they are all there at once. I also like the idea of alternate realities based on choices made...your story seems to echo those ideas in a very creative way. Like Joni and can't wait to see how this plays out! Will respond as my stupid computer allows *G*.
