No. Angel has a hard time understanding that he, himself, might not be the end-all and be-all of everything, and thus Buffy might be slightly dissatisfied, and that thus dismissing something that she longs for might actually be hurting his position. Too bad Buffy was so young and full of hormones, or she'd have followed her instincts here and seen that Angel was... well, full of it.
Certainly fits part of my definition of love! Lovely ficlet.
