Love this ficlet!  She's honest for once with the Scoobies.  Let them marinate in their guilt while Buffy does something fun.  Also this is a much better way of interacting with Spike than in canon.

beautifully written piece..very lovely...love to think of buffy dealing with it this way better than the way she did in the show...only thing is i do feel for dawn, and somewhat for giles...neither one of them knew what the others were doing...they should take dawn along...great little fic, pet :)

You are correct. She should have told them as soon as possible that they were a bunch of selfish prats for thinking the PTB would let her be in hell. Bitch slapping Xander was a favorite fantasy of mine for most seasons.

I like the concept a lot, a different take on Buffy dealing with her resurection in a more healthy way. Just don't forget about Dawn, I think Buffy would be OOC if she totally abandoned her responsibilities.
