Aww, I liked this version of season and it can go so much further and off canon. It feels unfinished

I wish that there's been a 'finale' between the two lovers, but you know its inevitable.  What I really did enjoy was Joyce's role. I think she got less of a role in canon than she could have and that was unfortunate.  I like the way you drew her, and how she saw Buffy and Spike -- and how she let Spike in.  I loved the hug and how much Spike needed it.

The bits with Angelus were brutal and though they weren't fun to read, they felt frighteningly real.

Just read this in one sitting and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Fabulous characterisations, and wonderful, believable plot. Thank you for taking the time to allow Spike and Buffy to build a believable trust and friendship between them. And for having Buffy send Angel on his merry way once he returned, I thought it was bad enough that canon Buffy would so happily forgive and forget... after what your Buffy went through I really can't imagine that she could have.

I hope *crosses fingers* you have plans for a sequel somewhere down the track?

Hi. I’ve just read the whole story from start to end, and thought that I’d express my appreciations for a wonderfully crafted tale. First of all, let me say that the whole thing was extremely well written, with an excellent storyline and first rate characterisation. I particularly admired the way that you were able to interweave your story with the canon events so adroitly. This made for an excellent story, and it's only a pity that events in canon BtVS could not unfold this way. I should also mention how much I admired your portrayal of Angelus, he was suitably evil, and a really evil Angelus is something that I find many writers cop out on, but yours was a truly nasty piece of work ... well done! Truth be told, I admired your portrayal of all the characters, and greatly enjoyed your ability to express their thoughts and emotions in such a believable fashion. As a final point I’m glad to see (from your reply to other comments) that you plan a sequel to this story. It will be intriguing to see how your Spike progresses upon his return to Sunnyhell and the barriers you will put in the way of his getting together with Buffy. Once again thanks for an excellent story.

well now this is just a great story, beautifully written and great plot. so i'm here to vote for a sequel cuz i know you have plans right? i would love to be notified somehow when you have it done. but i guess i will just have to keep checking back here from time to time. cuz gotta see the greatness that is spuffy when spike gets back to town with his surefire plan......NOT! hehe! thanks for writing this wonderful story.

Dang, Jenny still died. Even after all the warnings. That was stupid of her to leave herself vulnerable still. {Sighs} Poor Giles. I hope that Spike takes what Oz and Joyce said to heart. I like how you put that part in for Oz. People seemed to forget that werewolf did mean part demon. Bravo on the chapter.

Now that was a pretty powerful and gripping chapter. Angelus is all ass, rude, obnoxious, cruel, and disgusting. Spike stood his ground to the end, even from the chair. Well written chapter especially because of the subject matter.

Interesting attitude from each of them on the en-souling. I liked Giles last words of the chapter that if he had the opportunity to take out Angel tonight, he would. Good update.

Angelus always was a cruel bastard. You have captured all three of the Scourge very well. You have a good handle on Dru with her visions too. Like that.
