I loved the Spike voice... I'm so glad she found him. 

It was a bit abrupt, but I liked it anyway.  Not all stories are about the 'ever after', sometimes they're just about finding each other.

I think that when a person becomes the voice in our head (the voice of reason and such) it truly shows that we love them.  One of my favorite lines from Two Weeks Notice is the speech he gives her at the end "she's the voice in my head that I can't drown out... and I don't want to"  (paraphrased).  Thanks for writing this.

God, the part where she hears him 'where else would I be?' I seriously just started crying on the spot. No warning, just off I went with the tears and the sniffling! 

I really loved this! I've never read a fic like this, and I thought it was totally brilliant! Great story!

hate to say it, but April's right.  It's pretty ambiguous whether they were communicating  or  simply connecting.  We need a bit more of a feel good nudge in the right direction. Enjoyed  the humour !

Hahahahaha, that's so awesome! I absolutely love how Spike existed in Buffy's head, and it'd be so interesting to find out what it was like for the Spike across the pond!

What a perfect reunion story. I read this on SR (I think) and was delighted to reread it here. You voices were on the money perfect. I think the ending was just right too. Well done.

Well honestly with you having him wheeze......when she no longer heard his voice is it because he's dead? hmmmmmm. If he's a vampire still he wouldn't wheeze cause in fact he can't blow air out or Angel would've been able to do the CPR in season one, hmmmm.

This is delightful! One of the best POV pieces I've read by far. I can't imagine Buffy not hearing Spike's voice in her head like this and how perfect that it is tied to her instincts, her true self, the self only he seemed to "get". Lovely tale.

That was one of the best takes ever on leading Buffy to their reunion. Just loved it, and laughed a good way through, too. Perfect way to get it all in in one shot.
