The sounds of a key being turned, and a door squeaking as it is opened can be heard. The person at the door looks around a lavish room decorated in period furniture and lush fabrics. She sees her target sleeping on a divan and walks slowly toward her. The none-too-gentle reader shouts, "Hey, Muse," and applies the cattle prod in her hand to said Muse. "WAKE UP! I want to read the next chapter!"

This story keeps getting more interesting with every chapter. :) It would seem that Buffy is one of the Powers (or maybe even a Greater Power) but has been gone for a long time. I love the crossover with Highlander (huge fan of the movies and the series), of course, the Spuffy smuttiness has its perks too (HOT HOT HOT!!!). Buffy’s punishment for Hank was truly inspired. Having him live with the pain and torment that his particular taste causes, without the escape on insanity, is the most perfect form of punishment and justice. I liked the senior partners condition, it goes to show that nobody wants Angel.

I did warn him,†remark to those who couldn’t quite believe that she went through with it. I just started reading again after about a years absence and I must say this is still as good as I remembered it being. I am looking forward to following along again (once I catch up :nod: ).

I loved it when Hammond realized who Buffy really was and his reaction. Buffy’s joy when they won and her reaction was fun, I loved how it took a little more then a quite cough to break Spike and Buffy apart. And yay Methos. I love him. I am really looking forward to the retribution against Hammond, Angel, and Hank for their actions. Thanks so much for the update, I really enjoyed it; and thank you for the Latin translation I basically knew what Buffy had yelled and what was said to Hammond but I had no clue about the oath Methos gave to Buffy.

I love how seamlessly you are blending Highlander the series with Buffy. Your mention of Darius being killed by the watchers council reminded me of how much I cried when I saw that episode but it also struck me as I had forgotten that Dawson and the others like him were also called watchers. No offence but as much as I like this fic, couple of things are extreamly unrealistic. First I seriously doubt Buffy who is a few 100 years old would still be a virgin. Just doesn't add up. I think someone who basically spent a centuries alone would be pretty depressing and repressed. Also if she is a virgin, I doubt she would move that quickly with Spike, she has allot of years of not giving in to temptation, so she's not about to suddenly give in so quickly.
Also the whole Spike wanking with buffy next to him...I found that disturbing.
Other than that this is a great fic, the idea of immortals and Vampires is brilliant, and Angel bashing can never be wrong :D

I really enjoyed this chapter. I love how you managed to combine parts of Spike’s past from cannon with parts that are unique to you universe, having him care for the innocents, and still keeping the spirit of who Spike is completely intact.

Oh how I wish I was Buffy at this moment. :D I really loved how Spike introduced himself to Buffy and her response; I loved how he got his first kiss, and his second, and his third. I enjoyed this chapter from Giles babbling to Spike picking up Buffy and setting her on his lap. Thanks for such a wonderful update. And sorry about your accident I hope everything's okay.

This was so great and I had to chuckle when you mentioned Joyce's last name, and then worked Duncan in. I have been hoping that somehow you would be able to. I realized from the beginning that the concept of her immortality was from Highlander, but you even mentioning Duncan was so great. I never missed an episode when Highlander was on, and I love how well you are blending two of my favorite shows. :D
