I loved that ending, I loved Spike's response and the humor in the exchange. I loved how Spike twisted the conversation, distracted Buffy, and then got out of Dodge so that he didn't have to answer her question. Thanks for the great update.

And your characterization is really good. I think there's a reason why he won't tell Buffy about Halfrek.

jeez, can't she just let it go? i don't see what the big deal is. okay, i'm really not feeling this story that much. it seems a bit too out of character for me. buffy is acting really immature. she sounds more like her 2nd season self. and spike also doesn't seem right. i think it could use some work.

Oh yeah, big guns indeed. Pull out the Dawn trump card. LOL Buffy. It just irks her that someone else could know Spike as William (which would indicate something of an intimacy) instead of it just being only her. She is so jealous, but she'll never admit it. Excellent start to this story.
