This is a VERY GOOD story, but given your other work, that's no surprise. It's sexy, funny, touching, well-written & true to the characters & their individual voices. You do quality work. My only complaint is to ungratefully wish you had written a hundred more stories.
"Pushing up daisies," by the way, is American slang for "dead" just as it is in Brit-speak.

That was both sweet and HOT! Nothing like Spike saying little nasties in a smut scene. And the Magic Box afterwards was pure lead the reader astray evil.

I loved the way Spike let Buffy know that the demon was taken care of without spilling why she might be extra concerned about it. This was a really enjoyable read, thanks.

well, the ending was in keeping with the show...beautiful scene between them at the beginning...wish she would have taken up for him more, but all in all a brilliant end to a lovely fic :)

 

I loved that Spike was finally able to tell Buffy that he wanted to be nice to her and that he didn’t want any harm to come to her. I also loved how he let her know that he would never use anything they do or anything she says to him against her later on.

I can understand Buffy’s fear and reluctance, she is slowly being destroyed by a demon from the inside out, she still fancies herself in love with Angel, and it’s not be to long since Spike had her chained up, and she was almost killed by Dru, in a poor attempt to prove he loves her.
