You really captured Buffy’s ability of denial. I loved Joyce’s gentle prodding trying to get Buffy to realize who was really taking care of the garden and Dawn’s reaction when Buffy tried to suggest that it might be a friend of Riley’s. This is such a sweet ficlet and I really enjoyed reading it.
