I feel for William.  It's very difficult to see things change when there was the a long period of immutability.

Spike (or do I better say William?) overreacted when was told the books were gone (moved). But for Buffy it was an opportunity to get to know the William part of Spike better, how he thinks. (Before, back in old Sunnydale, they didn't talk a lot about things like that).

hehe, William kicking ass. Its not often that you get to see something that would really get him going. Add his fierce protectiveness over his books, and Spike's temper, and you get one hell of a show.

Spike was careful to ask but he had to (what Buffy wanted from him, how she saw him) but he underestimated her. Loved Spike carrying Buffy, he is really a White Knight when it comes to her. And the symbol with getting the feather after Spike fed the raven (the story about them, flying between the worlds.

Its so strange, yet really nice to see the Slayer and Vampire acting all domestic, going on tours and going out to eat, taking pictures while playing with birds. The occasional awkwardness is expected, and can't always be avoided, but you also bring a comfort and let them have moments they can cherish. Wonderful fic.

Just a little Brit thing - you had Spike carry Buffy off for a 'bit of kip' - I was expecting her to be taken to a plush bed for a sleep, as that's what it means. Not sure if you knew or not. Didn't spoil the fic for me though - roll on the next chapter!

Love that they're going to try "creating a new life together". The Raven giving her his feather was really cool too, just hope it doesn't have some ominous meaning to it. Good that Buffy explained why she didn't like the way Spike acted in the tower. They have to continue talking, don't let thinks come between them (small things getting better when not talking).
Spike would make a very good history teacher by the way...

Nice long conversations, alot of it needed. I love some of the back story, like Buffy looking up a word he'd said. It shows how much Spike really tended to get under her skin.

Wow, didn't expect that kind of conversation. That's about as a heart-to-heart as they've ever had. So glad that Buffy realizes this is her problem and is trying to let Spike understand that it's up to her to deal with it. And she still loves him, now it's his turn. Excellent chapter, thanks.

So many people think that instruments of real torture are the stuff of fantasy!  Good on you for having Spike point out the actual reality of it going into the suffering instead of just glossing over the device itself.

Awe Spike wants to play tourist? He risks a lot in the daylight. I hope he knows the weather so good like he thinks. LOL seems I wasn't the only one who enjoyed the lesson Buffy got from Spike about London; other tourist did too.
Spike knows a lot of the torturing history too. Not an easy topic but the tourists asked for it. Spike really enjoyed telling it; I guess because he could threaten the other a bit like in the old times just without violence.

So pleased to see this sequel!

Spike in all his glory, the center of attention and he did enjoy history. He did have over a hundred years under his belt alone. Anyone but the Slayer probably wouldn't be able to eat after that.
