Ooooh! I love this but hate it, you know? I so wanted her to jump in a chopper and head to LA - I always want my Spuffiness - but this is just perfect in its ambiguous finish. Will she, won't she? Great!

This is a stunning take on the upcoming comic verse. I do hope you decide to continue it as I suspect Joss is not interested in continuing the story in a way that would satisfy many fans of Spike and/or Spuffy.

Thanks. And much as I can't understand it, I'm quite confident that Buffy *can* just leave Spike in LA. Tragic, really.
As for Ireland, I think the Joss interview mentioned that the first four panels took place in Scotland. I couldn't figure any convincing backstory or significance to attach to Scotland, so I skipped over a land mass or so and decided Buffy's new dwellings were near Angel's hometown.
What with Joss sending decoy Buffys to Rome and me deciding that the Ireland twist is more interesting than the Scotland angle and plenty of other writers at the ready to introduce Buffy to Barcelona and Amsterdam and Prague, we're going to need a detailed map of Europe at the BSV ... Actually, I wonder if Buffy would like Madrid?

I enjoyed this. I like your Buffy's voice, and as much as I want to scream at you to write more, this is a very fitting place to end the one-shot (and if it is indeed a one shot, you might want to mark it as "completed") as it is (quite obviously) Buffy-centric. Well done, and I hope to see more from you in the future.
