Thank you! Yeah, I really felt for him in that scene... I wanted to whack him up the side of the head for opening his big mouth and shoving both feet in it... but I felt bad for him too, he'd finally got what he'd dreamed of, only to have the dream shattered in the morning.
Poor dear Spike....Then again...not much was as cold as Buffy S6!
