Poor Dawn. But in your less than angsty season six tyhat you have going here, Dawn could totally not 'lose' Buffy or Spike. I hated that they did that in the real one- Buffy ingored Dawn and there was like no Spike/Dawn interaction on screen (I assume there still was, but not shown, which was a rip off).
Anyway, loving this per usual.

awwww, that was so sweet, and quite believable, that if things might have gone just a little differently in the wake of buffy's return, things might have ended up going so much better between them as well...great job with this chapter, love :)

I am just glad that you updated. I just got caught up on this story and it was great that at least at one point the Scoobys were helping to take care of each other. But now that Dawn and Spike have Buffy back, maybe they can help each other heal. The rest of the gang left them out of this because they know this is wrong. I am just happy that Buffy asked for comfort from him. Awesome story.
