I loved that, very well written.
The "I will always come for you line was great" ;).
Thank you very much :D

Ah, that line--I just couldn't leave his "She will come for me" hanging.  I'm glad you liked it.

That's sweet, Buffy taking care of Spike like that, I wished we would have had that on the show, we never got to see what exactly happened when Buffy rescued him. Wish it had been like this fic. ;)
Yeah, me too.  It was like that look she gave him in that cave upon rescue became a wash storyline wise.  That's why there's fan fic :D

Thanks for reviewing.

I always thought that "She'll come for me" sounded way too naughty! And I giggled most of the times I heard it,despite the seriousness and sadness of the situation that Spike was in...but,in the end of the episode,I stopped my innappropriate manner and spilled a few tears for the greatness of Spuffy love.
Man,I need to sleep. It's three in the morning here. And,
yeah,I know,insane.But I can't stop when it's about fanfictions!
Anyway,I loved the fic very much. Thanks:)
I would say that his speech to her in "Empty Places," and the look she gives him in "Showtime" were my fave Spuffy moments in s7.  The look she gave him in the latter ep completely inspired this one shot, and I'm glad you loved what I did here.  Thanks for reviewing :D

I liked this bit of "fluff" as you say. Very touching. But I still don't know what shirty means!
Aww, thanks Joyce. I hope it influences your FFL vote--um, I mean, I hope you had happy a holiday :D

Oh, and shirty means upset. At least, that's how I interpreted it in that ep Spike used it. I should probably look it up...

"I'll always come for you"

OMG! That's EXACTLY what I've always pictured Buffy saying when I filled in the blanks at the end of the episode. Don't worry about the fluff--it's actually a breath of fresh air. So much angst in fics. Life ain't always blood and peaches, but it isn't all heartbreaking, either.

Thanks IB :D Yeah, the acting at the end of that ep was superb, and made it easy to imagine fluff and quality time. And yeah, nothing wrong with spreading a little joy ;) I guess, lol

you may not be much for fluff, but this was really good.

A little fluff can be a very good thing! I enjoyed it.
Thanks, Lou ;) Glad it wasn't too fluffy, and that you enjoyed it.

This is how I'd like to think it went down. Even to Xander and Willow helping a bit and being concerned. I choose to believe this is canon *G*. Lovely story.

Kathleen
Thanks Kathleen. We share the same beliefs ;) I saw the sparks of change earlier that season, cause Willow is the blood run gal for Spike, and Xander was, ya know, amicable. Couldn't leave it out.
