Good story. Or at least a part. I liked Kate. It was very in character and she did make a point of studying up on monsters, so she'd have zombies covered.

Nice comment about her dislike of mobs coming from the Rodney King riots. She'd have had to have been a rookie, but the time frame would fit.

Nice little one-shot! Your Kate is excellent - of course she would never really give up being a cop, even if they took away her badge. I liked that she didn't know about Angel taking over Wolfram & Hart, and went looking for him at the Hyperion. And the "just like a zombie movie" mentality is too funny.

I also like that you left her in a hopeless situation, but didn't kill her. Like the Faith one-shot, it feels like you know how it ends, but there's the little voice that says, "Well, maybe they're still okay..." even though it's not at all likely.

Yep, sounds like a zombie movie plot. You just know everyone ends up a zombie...unless some miracle happens.

I'm so glad you guys decided to cover Kate. I liked her on the series.

Decided to run over Edwards, huh? Meanies, LOL. That's in the Mojave Desert. There's also Pendleton Marine Base towards San Diego, and the San Diego Naval Yard.....at least those guys can push off if dry land looks too hostile. And March Air Force Base in Riverside, which is closer to LA than Edwards. Service spots dotted all over SoCal.

Ouch!

Okay gotta be honest I was never a fan of Kate (huh sounds like a euphamism.) but it was good. Well in character for her.
