Can I just say that I disagree that you don't deserve any kindness? Cuz you do! I love this story. The selfish fangirl in me wants more story now! But then I realize that you are human, and you have a life that does not include fanfic. Don't be so hard on yourself. Whatever's going on IRL needs to take precedence. So do what you gotta do, cuz we'll be waiting here when you're able to come back.

Nice to see a post from you again. Anything you write is usually good and this is no exception. I loved the Origin Trilogy and I love these short stories. Never change your style, it is loved by me.

I'm glad to see that you are taking up your work again - but honestly, why not do something that you really love - take up another character from the series or just do some totally fun project, strictly for yourself.
I been doing some banners based on the evolution of Spike, some alone and some with Buffy, from the Bela Legosi Dracula - think that might be something interesting for you to think about and maybe try working with?
It's good to take up older works too - sometimes you are totally surprised with where the revisit takes you. I like doing that with my early paintings.

This would've made great canon. It's always nice when ther are consequences of some kind for a Scoobies' actions.Not to mention Xander's freaking is wonderfully silly.
I think I've got the Pippin clue. Is it from Bring it On with Eliza Dushku (Faith) and Claire Kramer (Glory)?

though my dislike of xander borders on despise, even i would not make him wear a pink ruffles. but probably a better visual than his normal dress.. very good read, thank you.

I interesting idea and kinda fun. Not sure you're going to hang away from the angst, though. lol I'm a musical idiot, so I've only picked up on a few of the songs in each chapter. I hope muse hangs around long enough for you to finish it.

One Night in Bangkok was from the musical Chess. Murray Head played Freddy Trumper in the original production and his brother, Anthony Stewart Head, was part of the final cast. One Night in Bangkok is one of my favorite songs from the 80’s and it wasn’t until three years ago I realized Murray and ASH were brothers.

Hee! This is one fun story! I love when Sweet takes Xander with him and it's all Beauty and the Beast. I was so happy when I recognized the Mulan song.
Here's hoping the get to Xander soon since Sweet is having him all prepared to be the Queen. Interesting that Giles is reconsidering the whole leaving, and realizing that some good may be coming from the connection between Spike and Buffy
Loved Anya's motown songs and good premise for the story.

Great start. I haven't read any OMWF fics either so this is a real treat. Giles is having 'adorable' thoughts about Anya? Hmmmm. I'm glad Spike's main concern is looking out for Buffy. You do that so well.

Great to see you have a new piece started - sounds like a great musical treat is coming - I happen to love listening to "classic oldies" and the Gaye-Terrell made me think of Orpheus and The Underworld also Psyche and Cupid.
