No total humiliation for Buffy.  I like it.  Still, I would have liked him to give her an explanation that wasn't totally skanky, but we can't have everything.

why does admitting we are in love make us so scared and vulnerable?  Strange since when we are confident about our feelings being reciprocated we feel like we could fly and time races past us.  This was so much more kind than the soap opera they made the series out to be.  Thanks for the alternate ending.

At least Buffy didn't completely emasculate him this time.

okay, i was thinking this would have ended happier, but i can't say it's all that much better from the actual episode.  it was okay, i guess i was just expecting more.
