Wonderful story, all of it.  A very great alternative to season 6.  I think the best part, though, was that Spike did it all without his soul, like we all knew he could.  I loved this so much I even read some of it at work, where the policy is "don't use internet for anything personal!" and nearly anything interesting is blocked.  Well, I know of two computers that can still get on BSV, so, I read, and I enjoyed.

Positively a lovely Spuffy Treatment - an excellent way to give both Buffy and Spike, all the Scoobies a second chance.  Second Chances all around.

Wow!  If Joss had ever been able to follow up the series with a TV movie, this would have been the one I'd like to see!  There was so much going on as you so wonderfully rewrote season 6 that I could never find a good stopping place...hence I stayed up almost all night for two nights straight until I had read it all.  It was well worth all the tired yawns at work the past two days!!!  Your work is always excellent, but this is the best piece you've ever written: well plotted, super character voices, fast-paced, and thoughtful insights.  You should be very, very proud of this story!

That was a really amazing read - I love how you kept so much canon and still changed so much.

Wow. I thought I was at the point where I had read all the good fanfiction out there but I was wrong. This was exactly what I was looking for!

It wasn't so much a fanfic as a story IMO. It was really well written and the plot line was well planned and thought out. I really loved seeing your view of what went wrong in season 6, I don't think I've ever seen someone do it the same way you have.

Outstanding! I should have reviewed each excellent chapter, but I couldn't pause long enough, I needed to hurry on to the next to see what was going to happen! I particularly love the way that Spike didn't realise the soul had gone, but managed to do the right thing without it, proving that he didn't really need it in the first place. You also had believable logic to cancel out the appearance of the FE.
One of the best 'let's go back in time and fix things' fics I have ever read. In fact I enjoyed it so much I might just go back and read it again....

Excellent story all the way through.I love how the addition of Giles torpedoed Riley's set up of Spike. The aftermath of that makes me think that there may be a lot of trouble )maybe even a divorce) in Riley's future.
