:(:( My good lord you made me cry. I usually all for jumping on the Spike bandwagon, but I'm am so teary for Buffy at the moment. You implement so much feeling into your writing, it's hard not to be empathetic for the poor girl!
Walsh is an utter bitch (but is that anything new? lol) and I can't believe that Forrest would get off that easy... there should be some Initiative gaol or something... meh my stupid musings. Anyways good chapter!

After all that action this was once again an interesting and spot-on portrayal of Buffy's situation.
It must be a real blow that her rapist might get away with it, so it is good to see she opens up in that group counseling.
Her relationship with Spike - this will be difficult. That accusation was a bit over the top, but who could blame her ... Right now, I am not sure whether I want them to get back together. They seem to love each other, but she is just not capable to forgive him right now. I really like your Buffy and I want her to get on with her life, whatever suits her.
For all those who hope for a Spuffy ending, I guess that final "No" could still be a "No, not yet" instead of "No, never".

Thank you! I had a great time on vacation. I'm glad you're enjoying the story - we had a little break for the supernatural fun, but now it's back to the nitty gritty of a painful real-life kind of situation.

"no"??? That's it?!? She just says no??? Oh my god, I can't take this. Honestly. I can't wait for her to forgive Spike and to get together with him, because he is so sorry and he is always making mistakes like this and je just never learns and regrets it afterwards... God, I need to go and read something fluffy and sappy right now.

Fantastic update - I think this must be one of my favorite parts of your entirely excellent work. Everything seems like it would have happened in real life, not just in Buffyverse FF.
And once again, I know all your readers appreciate your regular updates - it makes the reading experience so much more effective. Sure wish some of the other writers could do the same -

Aww, thank you! That's so sweet. I am striving for real-ness with this fic - even though it's a supernatural setting, what happened to Buffy was a very human crime.
