*nods* not sure I've seen that approach before. It nicely ties in with what most people think Spike was after when he left Sunnydale, and what he actually got. And yay, Buffy, for letting him finish speaking.
It's that anger right at the end when he dashes off on the bike - that does not look like a person bent on getting himself a soul (to me anyway :-) ) It might have been what he wanted, deep down, but I don't think he'd really considered it at that point. Anyway, that's just my thinking... Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.
