Fantastic chapter here....nice plot movement and intrigue. Will Ilonia actually be helpful as she really seems to be. The Immortal seems to want to screw Angel a bit as well. True they weren't fully honest but they weren't following Angel's plan at least.
Love the enchanted mirror idea! Never seen that used in story or on the show but it fits nicely with the way the ME writers made helpful things like this work...NICE piece of writing there.
"He had noticed the fixtures in the bathroom were gold, and there were several other things of value he could remove from the plane and sell. Finding what he needed, he proceeded to unscrew, pry off, and lift anything a fence could sell for him. .... it’s not like the damn lawyers couldn’t afford to replace anything."
Excellent way of showing the spark of the old self in Spike (and once more that the soul does not guarantee "good" and moral choices). This would make complete sense and I just had to chuckle at him prying away at the jet!

Thanks for the great feedback. That soul issue has always been such a touchy subject in the Buffyverse. Once Spike worked through his mommy issues in Season 7 it seemed like he was back to his old self, mostly.

No no - not the jacket! LOL at Spike's soul nudging him for not saying thank you but not bothering him over ripping off all the plane fixtures.
He's never been too concerned about where his money comes from!

The Immortal helping was certainly unexpected, and Spike knows Buffy loves him! That must give him hope.
He'll work harder to find her now, knowing how she feels about him.
