Poor Buffy!  I almost wish Willow could make the coat take on his smell.  Looking forward to the next chapter.
Next chapter is now up. Thanks for reading!

“I need to kill something.”

“There! Now see? That’s healthy.”

I loved those lines.  And you have me feeling terribly sorry for Buffy and worried about Spike.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Next chapter going up soon.

So Buffy turned the emotions off again? {sniff} I suppose they should have expected that after everything that has happened in the past. {snuffle}
Now then... how does Spike come back? 'Cos we know he has to... right? Please?

Does he? Have to? Are you sure?  *evil laugh*

Buffy may not have been crying at first, but I sure was.  Beautiful.  Can't wait for the next one.
Thank you. They should be coming every other day again now.

At last Buffy finally broke down - I thought it was never going to happen!  She needs it.
She does. She'll be the better for it.

So glad she didn't hold it in forever. Spike wants her to be happy... but not instantly. She needs to mourn him. Another beautifully sad chapter.
Thank you. :)

Wow, you are such a talented writer.  The last 2 episodes have really hit me where it hurts and I've found myself crying each time.

Please tell me it won't be TOO long before we get some happy Spuffyness, because, seriously, my mascara can't take it anymore and my work colleagues will start to think I'm a bit odd. :)
LOL Can't have you getting fired for crying at work. :) Thank you.

They were right, what Spike meant about not crying was that he didn't want Buffy's grief to swallow her, to stop her from living......shame to see Buffy isn't getting any better at accepting all feelings. Shutting herself down was exactly not what Spike wanted her to do...Someone needs to beat it into her head that tears are not a weakness.

Scent is an important part of the memories. I'm glad Willow didn't give up on being there.
*nods*  Exactly. Leave it to Buffy to carry it to extremes. :) Thanks for reading.

So sad, is Spike coming back to life?
Ah, ah. That would be telling...:)

oh! My heart broke into a million pieces reading this! I'm ready to cry! How unfair for Buffy~~ Please make it better!
 Wonderful writing, powerful!
I'll see what I can do...

Yes...that sense of smell is so overpowering with the way it can tap memories.  It WOULD be the thing to finally do her in.  She has nothing to cling to that was real and solely Spike and that is crushing.

Love how they are dealing with Buffy.  I actually feel sorry for Giles because THIS has finally brought home to him the damage HE caused by his actions before the battle with the FE, he sees the gulf as never before because his girl is hurting and will not turn to him as she might have in the past.

Willow is completely practical by making certain Buffy sleeps at least and waiting for Buffy to reach for her.

This is heartbreaking in the same way that The Body was...it reads as real on an emotional level.

Wonderfully done.

Thank you, Kathleen. :)

Poor, poor Buffy. Thank god Willow used her resolve face on her - and thank god the dam finally broke.
Yes, it was time. Even Buffy can't shut down forever. :)

Poor Buffy, not crying for Spike cause he asked her not to. Liked Giles , Dawn and Willow in this, finally they know how much Buffy loves Spike.
Loved the end ...But it should smell like him! It should smell like Spike , and it doesn't! AWW poor thing :(

Can't wait to see how it ends ... more soon please.
More in a day or two.  Thanks for reading.:)

Bless her heart - I'm glad Willow is there for her.  Looking forward to more of this tale - can't imagine what's in store.
*nods* sometimes you really need your oldest friend, especially if she's wearing her resolve face.:)
