I think and epilougue would be cool though, y'know, Spike still ends up burning, but then as soon as he returns to solidity in L.A. he makes the call to Buffy. ^_^

I'm really enjoying reading through all your stories. I've started from the bottom and I'm going up, reading all your stories that have more than one chapter. I figured it was time for another review. I love your characterizations. They're pretty true to themselves while being different enough that Buffy and Spike can actually be together. The perfect ending. You didn't ned to go on to finish the season because now we know what we need to, that now when Spike pops out in LA he's going to get in touch with Buffy the moment he can!

Lovely loving end to the story. Kinda glad you left it here. It is up to the reader how that battle went in this version. With Giles not actively against them things have already changed. I doubt if Buffy would have allowed Spike to stay and burn in this case either.
It is good she put it into words. Spike is a verbal fella, he needs to hear it. Also after all the mixed signals in S6 he would never just accept her actions without the words matching them.
Really loved this turn in canon.
