Great Updates - wonderful section with Spike and Willow and his fears about being able to protect his new family.  I personally think that Spike would be miserable as a "normal" human male, so I hope that you help him with that problem.  I think that, like Buffy's loss of her Slayer strength,  he too would eventually feel that he had lost a huge part of life. 

Excellent way that you are bringing in the problems that Riley felt about being a "normal" human male and having Spike feel share some of those same issues.  I think that Buffy is not being realistic to think that his losing his strength and connecting back to what William was like will not be something very hard for him to deal with and accept - It is a very human thing for a man to want to protect and provide for his family.
