I think I reviewed the biginning of this one somewhere else but I can't find where so I'm going to continue reviewing here...
I share Giles' concern about what might be happening in the 'verse that Spike came from... surely 'his' Buffy will be needing him? So glad that Xander seems to have grown up, but not surprised that Kennedy hasn't. Time for her to be given a reality check. Now waiting for the Immortal's dastardly plan to be revealed...

You're right to worry about the other universe... As for the Immortal's plan, it will be revealed in a few chapters, and I hope I manage to write him as a decent enough bad guy :-D

I've just read the first four chapters. Wow, you're doing a wonderful job. The varying emotions are all coming across really well.

Thank you SO much! This is completely new to me, not only because it is my first canon-ish long fic, but also because this is the first thing that has so many more characters playing a major role than just Buffy and Spike. The fact that you like it means more than I can put into words!

Great story - up there with the best of them. Don't know why you're not getting more rave reviews - I guess its too much plot and not enough bedroom scenes.
I can't thank you enough for this review, it really boosted my spirits. I like this story, like writing it, and I think it's not half bad. As far as lack reviews here is concerned, I just attribute it to people not knowing my stuff (I mainly write AU/AH, at Spuffy Realm), but this fic gets only a few reviews on SR too, while my previous one did really good.
Anyway, no need for you to hear my rant :-P Thank you so very much for letting me know you like this story so far, and I hope what comes next won't disappoint!
