As a matter of fact I think this makes more sense than the way they did it on the show. IMHO her breaking of the spell should have had just the effect you describe, making her words safe, but not reversing any of the effects from her previously expressed 'will'. I've also always wondered just what else she said while the spell was in effect and what other events occurred as a result that we never saw...

I always thought so as well! That's why I ended up writing this. I also figured that there would be way more effects than than we saw in the show, as you said, and wondered where the possibilities of that road would lead, but alas, I shall not explore that in this fic. Perhaps later the plot bunnies will strike again and I will write another twist of Something Blue and go into that direction. Have you ever read Something Bollocksed? I think it's on the Buffy and Spike Diaries. Not sure who wrote it though. But it's a fabulous example of other effects of Willow's 'will be done'! Anyway, I've been rambling. Thanks for reviewing and I'm glad you liked the prologue!
