I love the humorous tone you have set for this story. It is definitely a fun read! Your Buffy and Spike banter is great.

I really like how this story has started and Spike's subtle but clear hope for company or connection with Buffy. Buffy's thoughts match her well and I love how you wrote Giles!

Spike has always had the yen for women that were considered unattainable to him. Now that he is chipless and Dru left him... well, Spike's always needed to have a purpose-- be it the mayhem or the devotion to his sire-- he's always needed to live for someone, to care about someone. He can admit his attraction to Buffy, but not love... not yet. ;) But we know he can't fight it too long. And Buffy? Well, she is the queen of denial, isn't she?
