WOW they found her and took her powers. I just hope they can figure this all out before it is too late. Hopefully they will be quick since she was talking to dawn when Amy came in.
But I think Xander is really and finally OK with knowing that it will not end with him and Buffy walking into the sunset. It was never going to happen. They are friends and they should have STAYED that way.

I've just caught up with this story and had to say how much I'm loving it. I gave up on the comics after a while as they became so sensationalist and strayed so far from the basic ethos of the Buffyverse, so while I know it wasn't Buffy in Rome the talk of diamond thefts is new.
Spike had a very good point in saying that Buffy wasn't the same person as she'd been in Sunnydale - where she'd been so self-righteous and disdainful of him for his petty crimes.
Can't wait for the next instalment...

Thank you. I'm glad you're enjoying my fic even when you don't follow S8. I'm shocked you didn't know about Buffy robbing a bank, because that reveal was in #10, and it was talked about plenty of times in forum and LJ discussions.

Kudos on the perfect plot change timing - well done.
Glad that Xander and Buffy are starting on a path toward more honesty and trying to deal with the realities of their lives and Andrea's. And Xander is perfectly right, no world or an endangered world is the same world that Andrea lives in. That's why people have to join wars sometimes - it's never a good thing, but sometimes it's the only choice that can be made. The best choice would be for all humans to say no to wary period. Now that "V" is starting again, it reminds me of the Clarke novel with the Over Lord Karellen - maybe that is what humans need to finally get us beyond the War solution. Slayers as Jedi that would be an awesome FF saga.
Once again, very sad about the separation between Spike and Buffy - sometimes couples just can't be together, this may well end up being one of those times.

Xander is finally seeing Buffy, what she has to do, what her duty is, and learned to back off. He finally understands she has no control over the situation, and Andrea won't be safe if Buffy, the Slayer, neglected her duties.
Buffy and Spike, those two need a good shaking to set them straight.
