oh, do please update!

Another very excellent chapter -  Reem and her culture make a wonderful way to explore Buffy's inner life and her Outward Reality Life.  Nice the way Buffy brings out her own runaway experience and how it effected those left behind. 

I've been thinking a lot lately on why Buffy is always given the "weak young girl treatment."  If you remove the Slayer, Buffy becomes a young girl and then a young woman that is so emotionally lacking in power - the very opposite of her Slayer life. 

Not sure how it is going to work for Buffy and Spike, this idea she has of his being the "expectations friend" now - With Spike, it might be a very good thing, giving her strengths and truths to try and see a clearer picture of what she really needs. 

Kudos on your "mother resents child" idea - while it is a ugly thing to look at, it is also a very real thing - especially with women who had children at a very early age or women from pre-birth control life.

A very good dialogue between the two girls.  Reem is the perfect foil for Buffy.  She wants to talk whilst the Slayer would prefer more physical exercise but eventually they do both and each girl begins to open out to the other.  And then, that final sentence.....

I await more of this great story with bated breath ......

I love this story, and it's so well thought out, and the dream was so weard and interesting.

It's good that Reem is trying to get Buffy to open up. Shame it isn't working that well... Yay! Spike to save the day! Now do we find out what's been going on on the outside?
