Boy - are you writing the "Poster Story" for strict birth control and responsible and planned parenthood.  LOL, how I would hate to be in Buffy and Xander's utterly "miserable  shoes" -   Your story is making me think about all those parents  that have chosen the military life.   How those families must suffer from the fears of losing their loved ones and how all those parents of soldiers must have to live with that fear every single day.

Great way to bring in Dark Willow and to connect the Sunnydale history.  I feel so sorry for Spike - once again life with love for Buffy is kicking his arse and tearing at his heart.

The simple and emotionally strong way that you have him hear the background of how Buffy and Xander end up having Andrea - very effective.  Excellent way to show the emotional consequences to all three - heart ache for Xander, total confusion of Buffy, and a small bit of relief to Spike for having to see her life with her family now.

What is very upsetting about your story is the knowledge that there are so many young women and men who end up in the same circumstance as Buffy and Xander.  And while I am sure that Buffy nor Xander would ever now not want their beautiful child, how she came to them is, IMO, very unfortunate.  There is no way that this can end well for either Buffy or Xander.

I sure hope that you have many more readers than your amount of reviews  - first class Buffyverse story.  I recommended it at my Buffytube site -

LOL! I'm probably writing that type of story, hee! Boys and girls, you should be careful and prepared or else you'll end up like Buffy and Xander. ;)

I wasn't so sure about the Willow part, I actually wrote this scene depending on the fight between Willow and Amy in #3 where Willow kind of lost control, but for the most of S8, Willow is very in control of her powers, more zen than violent.

Spike does break your heart standing alone like an outsider, his gaze never leaving Buffy who reunites with all her loved ones. It does hurt seeing Buffy holding her child while both being hugged by Xander, the father. They're a family, and Spike thinks that he doesn't stand a chance.

I've suspected that my readers may not be so many, I know that a S8 fic isn't popular among fans, which I find strange. Personally, I prefer fics set during a season I dislike (S7 for example) than a season I've very satisfied with (high school seasons). Not only that, but I started my fic with Buffy and Xander expecting a child, that's probably a deal breaker for a lot of Spuffy fans, judging by some of the reviews for the earlier chapters. But I'm glad for the readers I have, especially you. I smile when I see your review because you tend to write a detailed one and that makes me proud of myself.

I love this story. You stay so true to the characters without being boring. You have an awesome story line that is developed and sounds like something that would actually have been on btvs. At first I kept on liking and then hating Spike and was like No! this person has Spike all wrong, but then I remember that's how Joss always wrote him, one episode I'd love him, the next despise him. You're an amazing writer, and I can't wait to see more. Hope Spike stays! Also love Xander and all of the other characters
Thank you so much! I'm so glad the characters are true to canon (without being boring ;) ) Everything you said makes me blush. Thank you.

Your comments about Spike makes me squeal with happiness. I personally adore the characters I love and hate. When a character is always good s/he bores me. That's why you'd notice how Buffy, Spike and Xander are written likable and unlikable at times. I want them to sound and act real.

Scary Willow is sometimes a good thing - sometimes not. Now then... With all the secrets out, how does the triangle get resolved?
Willow is too powerful now, she's got to be very careful with that amount of power.
