This chapter certainly made me a very happy and satisfied spuffy fan!! I got both humour and a rather hot makeout scene that left me desperate for more plus that very sweet ending!! :)

The opening scene with Buffy displaying her lack of knowledge with alcohol and Spike's innuendos had me grinning like a fool, I especially liked the whole teasing over the "threesome" and "foursome" and I could definitely hear Buffy saying something like “I’m thinking this is enough to render me unconscious.” Perfect line!! :)

I totally loved it when Spike revealed he had money leading to Buffy's questioning of why he had made them sleep in the same bed. Spike's disconcerted response was completely adorable and the “And hey, evil here” was pure Spike. (Also I have to say, Spike carrying the shopping bags without having to be asked, just another reason why he would be the perfect boyfriend!!)

“So us sharing a bed was absolutely inevitable and practical.” - I think all Spuffy fans in the world would have been nodding in agreement at this line!

Buffy pretending to be mad was very in character (seriously, I think there were quite a few times when she was secretly amused by what Spike said in the show but of course she would never let anyone know!!) and her way of having Spike make it up to her certainly met with my approval! ") My own personal Spike strip show...*drool*.... :)

"I am so not with the peeing right now, as you can tell." I absolutely cracked up at this line!! And I loved the little insight to how Buffy must really feel when she says "I keep asking it of you but you never strip." As we all know she hasn't asked that many times but clearly she's had it on her mind alot!!! Mind you, can't say I blame her!! The same thing has been going through my mind!! ")

Despite his negative answer to the request you can't tell me Spike wasn't flattered and probably a little intrigued at the thought of giving Buffy her own personal show. And trust Buffy to only remember so much French that it covers themes in the bedroom!!

The scene in the motel room was completely mind-blowing!! The combination of playfulness and seductive teasing was quite intoxicating!! ") I was getting rather flushed and frustrated!! And what girl would not melt at being told “There isn’t one thing about you that isn’t turning me on.”

And then we have that wonderful moment on the bed! Seriously, it was like having them making love but with their clothes on!! No wonder they both came to a rather explosive climax!! (Although, I'm betting that when they finally rid themselves of all material barriers this will only make the moment more intense and powerful!!) I can certainly imagine a very blissful Buffy being quite happy to snuggle with an equally happy (and smug) Spike after such a rapturous encounter! ") Also, giving Buffy her first trip to esctasy will certainly have Spike being set in a special place in her heart!! (I say her first trip since first times for girls are never the pain free & orgasmic experiences most people would have us believe, plus having to deal with Angelus afterwards certainly would've soured any sweeter memories Buffy may have had!).

I love the way you ended this chapter! :) It was so sweet and I can just hear Spike saying “I’ll look after you” with his beautiful blue eyes shining with warmth and his voice soft and sincere and then determined as he reassures Buffy's anxiously voiced "promise?" with a firm "Always."

I very much look forward to the next instalment where hopefully things are going to get rather intense and very steamy between our gorgeous couple (with their clothes taking their leave rather early on in the piece!!) ") leading to a very satisfying, enthusiastic and bedshaking conclusion! :)
