Was really excited to see this fic updated so quickly. Thinking on season 7 I guess Spike didn't have much reason to believe Buffy really loved him. Her 'does it have to mean something' comment and 'I'm not ready to see you gone' was hardly inspiring. I can't wait to see how you handle the reunion. Buffy seems to have grown up some, so maybe they'll get to talk before she pops him one. Loved the update, looking forward to more.
Thanks for the review Jane! You're right. Spike had no reason to believe Buffy loved him, and if you watched any of Angel the Series, that was reinforced. He had decided to let her move on during that show.
