Was so thrilled to see an update, I love this reality, sooo much better than canon.
Super seeing Clem again, had him down to a T, nice to know he'll be around for a good while.
Great Spuffy development in this chapter, they're so sweet, everything I could have hoped for. I really liked how you handled the Angel issue, most writers wring out the angst, but it made more sense this way.
Can't wait for more, made my day. Love it.
Aw, thanks Jane! I'm really pleased people like this Clem voice. I really wanted to get him right. And yeah, Angel has had enough screen time and enough words written about him. He really needed to be made a non-issue with respect to Spuffy. Thanks for the review!

Loved the demon bar scenes in this and previous chapter. Great Spike/Buffy interaction. Lovely ending to this chapter!
Thanks Spitfire! I was worried the bar scene was too similar to the previous, and that Spike got his information too easily, but it was never going to be hard to hear about something as 'successful' as the Dragvlok attack.
I'm glad you liked the Spuffy. I like writing them spending time together, talking and doing nothing.

Wow this story is so good! I am very Glad you posted another chapter! Can´t wait for the next part. How does Buffy feel for Spike, did she miss him all those years? Will she tell him? can´t wait to find out.
Thanks Kale! I try to show how Buffy is feeling through Spike's observations of her behaviour. He doesn't know what her beahviour means, but I'm trying to let the reader see how she feels. part of the problem is that Buffy has not sat down and really thought about what her own behaviour means. She's just acting. And since she doesn't believe in talk - being all action girl now - in life and and in love, her actions are doing all of the talking. I'm thinking I'll show you ugys a bit more of what's going on in her brain next chapter. It shouldn't take as long as this update. ;-)

Ah, I've been hopng for an update of this fic. This was lovely. Two steps forward, one back - neither one really sure of themselves but settling in to the comfort of being together. I'm enjoying this so much. :)
Really? Cool! I was worried that with the action dying down, people would get a little bored with it, but I forgot that people had always expected this to be a romance fic in the first place, not an action fic. I'm really itching to turn up the temperature in this fic, but not too quickly. So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks!
