Chapter: Presence

This totally hit my angst kink button.  So hard to feel Buffy be in such pain - even knowing that it's going to get better.
Thank you!  Hopefully you'll be okay with the wait as I deal with Real Life demanding my time just now.

Nice hookup with the Angel episode
Thanks!  I wanted to see if I could swing those scenes from Spike's POV and I think I managed to pull it off.

wonderful writing - I had to read through tears, especially at Buffy's realisation that Spike was really gone, as I said before brilliant emtional depth.

Again, many thanks.

Well I think it was best Willow and Xander left when they did, at least Buffy will be spared the 'time to move on' speeches. I hope Buffy doesn't have to wait too long for the call from LA. Wonder who it will be. Super update.

I like to think this is the start of their growing-up time, for all of them.  Glad you liked.

Great story.

God Buffy's pain when she finally broke complety brought me to tears. There was so much heartbreak... I was seriously crying reading this.

Yayyy! Spike's back!

Can't wait for more.
I have never been sure if I was the type of author capable of bringing readers to tears, so this is quite a compliment for me.  Thanks!

Oh God, that was heartbreaking.

More! Please!
Heartbreaking is what I was aiming for, so yay!  Um.  You know what I mean.

Love it!  The months of no Spike between Hellmouth and LA has always needed some filling in.  I like this interpretation of his death experience.  Can't wait to see where you take this.
Glad you liked, and I hope you enjoy the ride.

This entire chapter had me in tears. I hope Angel doesn't keep them apart. And Giles better not help Angel with that either.

As soon as she felt Spike leaving her I knew he was being pulled from the Amulet. They connected somehow when they held hands? So as long as he was in the amulet he was connected to her?
Giles has apologized.  We'll see how their relationship develops, but he isn't the villain in this story.

As for the rest, you'll see. :)
