The last few paragraphs of this chapter are simply heaven!

That was a beautiful way for Buffy to prove her love, can't wait to see what effect it has on their actions and the results.

Beautifuly done, the sadness of what will be lost but the willingness to enjoy what they have as long as they have it.  

This fic is great, & I\'m enjoying it so much. It doesn\'t hurt that I\'m a sucker for historical Spuffy, but you do seem to be doing a fine job. Though dancing around parts of canon, even so far you are doing a much better job than the show. By your descriptions and wording you have rendered a much truer to the time feeling than the show ever did. I figured it was going to be Liam, 1st with the time & place, & doubly so after those predictions for Buffy. Poor Buffy! I can\'t wait to see where you take this! I hope you get a really creative, historically accurate graphic of Spike, especially in mid-18th c. clothing (OK, well, Buffy too). BTW, the queue he wore wore when he killed his 1st slayer was really not appropriate for appx. the early 20th c., but was for the 18th c. Anyway, looking forward to more!

Exquisite. But how could they be sent back to their own times if Spike is never to have been turned? Something tells me there will be more for them to do together, particularly now that they're mated.
Now then - do they have to dust Darla before Liam gets turned or have they left it too late so that it will be Angelus just after he's turned?

That might not have been the smartest thing they could have done. Not that I don't love the feelings behind it but figuring out what they are going to do about Liam might have been the first thing they thought of. Because once Liam is prevented from being a vamp the world will change forever. And it might be good or bad they don't know yet.
