It was good seeing the part with Lola. It was also nice to see the way the story ended.
It would have been nice having Spike's team of female demons in the story, but that would probably have complicated things.

I'm glad you liked it. Yes, it just would have been too complicated to explain or use all the characters and events from the comic. Not enough readers would have read them to just throw something out there and hope everybody "got it". Plus, I'd have had to reread all of them just to figure out what I wanted to use! LOL Much easier to just borrow that world shortly after it all went bad, and give them an alternate future.
