Another riveting chapter. How many more do we have left? You know I keep having faith in a happy ending. {grins}
Happy ending? Sure. But I have to explain just where Spike and Joni have been...from the begining. (I figure ten more.) enjoy.

I'm still a bit confused, but at the same time, more and more is making sense. I am thinking that when you are one with this story, you may have to right a run down of what happened! LOL! GREAT update!
Just a bit? Darn. I was aiming for *completely* confused! LOL. I will explain, but keep in mind that M.E. messed *so many* things up that I have to mess with cannon before this will all make sense.

This chapter has suddenly brought all the threads together for me. There have been times, during this story, when I've gotten thoroughly lost and confused by all of the different time-threads and scenes. But this has suddenly lifted the mists. Trouble is, I'm feeling terribly pessimistic now because it just seems as though there cannot be a happy ending for Spike and his family, can there? Or, are there more veils to come off?

You are so very welcome! Yes, there can be a happy ending. More veils to come off soon. Remember, earlier in tthe story, I implied that years could go by wherever Spike was while on the outside, only days, *perhaps hours* had passed? We started out in the future, didn't we? Then, Joni jumped into that spell, and mucked things up? Well.. I might be messing around with "Buffy" cannon a bit more soon. It's all good, don't worry, Chrissie.
