I'm glad that Giles tried to clear Spike's not-so-necessary guilt.
And one more thing...Of course he felt guilt and such even before he got his soul back,you git!
Anyway,he's getting better and over his and the Council's taboos,so I'm fine with Giles.This Giles is way better than the one in the show.
Liked the chappie so very much.

I prefer Giles the way he was before season 7 when he became just like Quentin Travers. Glad you do too. k

your giles is what he might have been. the potential was there, but he was leaning towards being travers jr. good read, thank you.
Yes, I called S7 Giles "pod Giles"..I am half convinced he was one of those robots like the fake Roger Wyndem-Pryce we saw on Angel in S5. SO not Giles! No desire to research WHY Spike got his soul or anything else...just completely out of character and completely like the Council template....not right. There are other explanations too but I wanted him to return to what he SHOULD have become.
